Through Christ, I could

can the praises of our hearts be heard?
screams of joy
as tears destroyed
the walls of fog now cleared once blurred

the voices raise as my eyes close
vision, away
sound, it fades
then shades of emerald throne show

I could fly…

our hearts they shout with grateful praise
chosen and paid
no longer a slave
we are His beloved for eternity’s days

we give our lives to Him this night
His tears they fall
of joy and call
a flame to grow to purposeful light

I could shine…

tears of joy from heaven drip down
from the skies
He purifies
my sins washed once again to ground

in God we trust, prioritized
for us to soar
to be more
in His Name beyond our eyes

I could be…

something more than my education
something more than my reputation
something more than my frustration
something more than my desperation
something more than my hesitation

something more than explanation…

through Christ, I could

My parents (who love me unconditionally and have given me the world), OLYMPICS!, Tivo, 8/8/08, nerds (the people and the candy…but mostly the people), newscasters, sportscasters, fireworks, patriotism (and the increased sense of patriotism during the Olympic games), straight teeth, the fact that I have never experienced true tragedy (I’m learning to be verrry thankful for this), architecture, crime fighting turtles (and not the Ninja type…), tap dancing, ribbon dancing, line dancing, noodle dancing?, time (as in seconds, minutes, hours, day…etc), Medieval Times (I know we were meant to be together, Yellow Knight…), and (of course) the artist rendering of the lion/machete story according to visionary Rob Wilson

Things I less than appreciate:
People who assume, distance, hate, people who believe they are entitled to special treatment, “Prince Chunk”…Really?, typecasters, Wander McMooch, money (or lack-there-of)

Don’t wait up, I’ll be fine…

Now the snarfblatt dates back to prehysterical times when humans used to sit around and stare at each other all day…Got very boring…So, they invented this snarfblatt to make fine music…
